“And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”  Rev 19:16

Majesty, worship His majesty. Unto Jesus be all glory, honor and praise. Majesty, kingdom authority flow from His throne, unto His own; Jack Hayford: Majesty Hymn

He was born into this world in obscurity, in a barn, laid in a manger.  He had no royal conception with attending hand maidens and servants, no reception filled with family and friends, just hay, sheep, and some mules.  No formal announcements of expectation, no feast of celebration from the men of this world, only His Kingdom announced Him; His angels declared His birth to the shepherds in the field.  His coming was prophesied of old, the sign was even in the heavens and the scribes and keepers of the books, kept the words that were foretold; but they didn’t go looking for the babe born King. Men from the East came following a star from afar, to give homage and due respect to the King.

Jesus, is so meek, His yoke is easy, and His burden is light, He is the Lamb of God, but Know this, He is King.  Yes He is savior, truth be told the saving was obviously more for us than it was for Him.  However, to worship and acknowledge Him as King is all about Him and should be all for Him. Yes, He’s a humble, loving King, and He doesn’t throw around His weight, but resistance to His rule is futile; all enemies will be made His “footstool”, and every knee will bow. (Act 2:35, Rom 14:11, Phil 2:10)

He has the birthright, and has been given the power and authority to rule; Jesus is King of kings! He reigns over all rulers, He’s is subjected to none on earth. There might be kings, presidents, or dictators, people given authority to rule and execute the law of the land, but all are subject to Him. It’s in His hand to execute the law over all of Earth!  He is the King of kings! (Mat 28:18, 1 Tim 6:15)

His people can not only trust in Him, they can rest being assured of Him.  Cause He’s not only meek and mild, and “approachable”, but He has the power and authority to deal with His enemies. Jesus, our King, is no cruel, distant task master, demanding of us what He’d never dare attempt. Looking from afar, directing us to endure what He doesn’t understand. No He can empathize with us, because He came and lived as us, suffering and being tempted in every manner like us, He knows.

So exalt lift up on high the name of Jesus Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus the king Majesty, worship his majesty Jesus who died now glorified King of all kings.  Jack Hayford:Majesty Hymn
